Links & Custom Domains
Link modes, supported platforms, custom icons, bio fields, integrations, and connecting your own domain.
Link modes
Every item on your page can be one of three modes.
- Link — opens a normal URL.
- Copy text — copies arbitrary text to the clipboard on click.
- Crypto — stores a wallet address that visitors tap to copy.
Paste to detect
Paste any URL and thugg.lol detects the platform automatically, so the right icon is chosen for you.
Supported platforms
Dozens of platforms are recognized out of the box, including:
- Social: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Telegram, Discord, Twitch, Snapchat, Kick, Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit, Pinterest, Threads, WhatsApp, VK, Steam.
- Music: Spotify, SoundCloud, Apple Music.
- Dev & payments: GitHub, PayPal, Cash App.
- Crypto: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether, Litecoin, Solana, Dogecoin, BNB, TRON.
- Or add a Custom link to any URL.
Custom link icons
Premium accounts can replace a link’s default icon with their own image.
- Formats: PNG, JPG, WEBP or GIF.
- Max size: 1 MB.
- Great for custom brands or links the auto-detector doesn’t cover.
Bio, location & occupation
- Write a short bio for your header.
- Location and Occupation each support up to 30 characters.
- These appear under your name on your public page.
Integrations
Integrations pull external platforms (music, video, streaming, live presence) onto your profile.
- Connect with a handle/username, or via a full OAuth sign-in.
- Hide or show a connected integration without disconnecting it.
- Some integrations (for example Spotify, YouTube, Twitch, Discord presence) are Premium.
Custom domains
Point your own domain at your page with the Custom Domains add-on ($2 one-time, up to 3 domains).
- Enter your hostname in Account → Domains — you’ll get two DNS records to add.
- CNAME: your hostname → cname.thugg.lol.
- TXT: _thugg-verify.<your-hostname> → the token shown in your dashboard.
- Click Verify after adding them; propagation can take a few minutes.
- Once verified, set it as your primary domain in Customize → Profile.
Security by design
On a custom domain only your /username page is reachable — every other path returns 404 on purpose.
