Username Market
Buy and sell usernames and UIDs from your wallet balance.
The market is where a name changes hands. Every username you own is a digital asset — it stays yours until you sell it, and it only ever leaves your account if you put it up yourself.
What can be sold
- Usernames — the address that opens a page. Buying one gives you a second address that opens your page.
- UIDs — the number shown beside a name. Decoration, not a link.
What a name's state means
States
- Free
- Nobody owns it. You can claim it at signup.
- Owned
- Somebody owns it and is not selling — it cannot change hands.
- On auction
- Owned, and the owner is taking bids. The clock runs from the first bid.
- For sale
- Owned, and the owner has set a fixed price. You can buy it outright.
- Sold
- It has settled and belongs to its new owner.
Buying
- Open Account → Wallet and top up.
- Find the name on the market and place a bid, or press Buy now.
- Each new bid has to clear the current top by the house step, so a lot cannot be nudged up by pennies.
- A bid holds that amount out of your balance straight away and gives it back if somebody outbids you.
- When the auction closes or you meet the buy-now price, the name moves to you and every other name you own keeps working.
Selling
- Open Account → Wallet first — the sale pays into it.
- Open Your names and press Place on Auction on the name you want to sell.
- Set an opening price and, optionally, a buy-now price that ends it instantly.
- You can sell a name once you have held it for a week — a name you bought starts that week again — and a lot opens at the market minimum.
You stay in control
Nothing starts until someone bids. Until the first bid you can cancel the lot and the name stays yours; once a bid lands, the auction runs its course.
Commission
What comes off
A sale carries a house commission, taken from the final price. The seller's wallet receives the price minus the commission, and the notification names both numbers so nothing is guesswork.
Your names are assets
A bought name does not expire, cannot be reclaimed and does not disappear while you hold it. The only thing that ends your ownership is selling it yourself or deleting the account that holds it.
Listing is a choice, never a default
Owning a name never puts it up for sale. A lot exists only when the owner creates one, and an auction with no bids can be cancelled.
